Presented in immaculate condition, with recent upgrades and renovations carried out by professional shipwrights for $$$$, this capable and inexpensive little wonder is sure to attract your attention.

Built by US boat-builders PDQ Yachts, the Capella 34 Catamaran is a favourite cruising multihull for her ocean going capability, well though off layout, safe and easy handling, strong and built and comfortable accommodation.

Equipped with two reliable Yanmar inboard diesels (many cats of this size only have outboards) just serviced and in turnkey condition, good sails, strong rig and a good range of cruising electronics, powerful solar and wind electrical supply and all the comforts of home, this pretty little catamaran is perfect for you and your family, whether as a live-aboard, ocean cruiser or just as a holiday home to while away the summer at your favourite anchorage.

Inexpensive to maintain with her timber-free deck and cockpit, good quality gelcoat in beautiful condition and a just finished full detail, antifoul and engines service, she makes an attractive choice for those not wishing to spend hours or heavy finances in boat maintenance.

'Natuna' was sailed single-handed from the US by her previous owner, who imported her and sold her to a shipwright and marina owner when having to rush back to the US after an Idyllic cruise through the Pacific. While in the care of her current owner, 'Natuna' was given the best of care and multiple upgrades. These include:

- New sail cover and lazy jacks (November 2015)
- New cockpit cushions, cockpit clears, etc (Sunbrella) (November 2015)
- New 12V Indel front opening marine fridge / freezer (November 2015)

- Antifoul (November 2015)
- Full engines service (November 2015)
- New anodes throughout (November 2015)
- New bilge pumps
- Gas compliance inspection and compliancy

The PDQ Catamaran is a very popular yacht in the North of the US and Canada, where sailing can often be very challenging, with strong currents and adverse weather are often the norm. With a gravity centre pushed as far aft as possible without compromising her sailing capabilities, the PDC Capella 32 was designed with safety in mind, with two large storage lockers forward also doubling as collision bulkheads, a deep and well protected cockpit, strong crossbeams, good reserve buoyancy forward, lower position on the water to avoid wind tunnelling while still providing a satisfactory height for comfort in the seaway.

The PDQ's award winning interior design is quite extraordinary in the way it manages to use the space, which in spite of the forward storage hatches in the bows still leaves an enormous amount of room in spite of her little 34' hulls.
The cockpit and steerage is agreeably on close enough levels to each other to enable the skipper and crew to keep each otehr company when steering, unlike many other catamarans whose steering station rises high above the cockpit, leaving the skipper exposed to the elements as well as removed from his family or guests. The cockpit gives access to the aft section with its large storage lockers, davits and the two boarding stairs molded in the hulls, making 'Natuna' a safe boat to board from a dinghy or after a swim.

Forward, the cockpit flows into the saloon, with its pleasant dinette sitting 6 comfortably, with as-new upholstery and beautifully varnished table, which slides down if needed to make transfer the saloon into a large double bed (please note that the infill cushion is not included). The settees also offer good storage. Lighting and ventilation is excellent, with the whole aft section of the saloon roof sliding forward to allow for higher headroom in the traffic areas of the saloon, as well as offering a beautiful cross-breeze when combined with the opened forward and side hatches. This also enables the skipper and guests to continue to communicate or see each other when under-way.
Another night place to relax is the forward section of the yacht, with its strong trampoline, and intelligently situated storage boxes along the cabin front, which have their own tailored cushions and can be used as comfy seats or sun beds.

Going back into the cabin, to the port of the saloon is access to the galley down a few small steps, and to the guest cabin with its beautiful latex queen size bed with brand new linen and bedding, a bed also offering a good headroom for those who enjoy sitting up reading in bed, and enough opening hathces to guarantee a cool and ventilated area.

The galley, which is U shape and equipped with a brand new fridge - freezer, is almost as large as the one you have at home (except it is 12V), a good size stove and separate oven, sink with pressurized hot and cold water, and plenty of storage.

Designed to be the master-side of the boat, the starboard hull of the boat is built to maximise the comfort of the owner. The cabin, if it is the mirror image of the port cabin, with its latex sensational bed, fresh new linen and opening hatches, is situated next to a well though -of navigation area with fold-down table, settee and access to navigation and electrical equipment.
Forward of the navigation area is the head, which is of a good size and equipped with a marine toilet, hot and cold shower, vanity and storage.

Be quick! Priced to sell fast as the owners are now busy with other projects, this capable and comfortable multihull is a rare find, epscially as multihull in this price rance are almost un-heard off, unless made of plywood, are custom-made or equipped with outboard engines. This is a proper production boat, with proven sea-keeping and cruising qualities and presented to perfection.
