A WORD FROM THE OWNER:
"Gallivant was built in 2006. The original owner used the boat for short periods, only for 4 years. It was in storage until we purchased it in January 2012. We have used the boat for 6 to 8 months each year since, with the exception of a 1 ½ year lay up for unexpected personal reasons. We spent 5 of those years cruising the Caribbean, with several crossings of the Caribbean Sea, visiting nearly every island. We transited the Panama Canal in February 2018 and have crossed the Pacific. In August 2019, we are currently cruising Vanuatu. Our short term plan is to go to New Caledonia.
We have been cruising together for over 40 years on a variety of boats. The Amel 54 is the ultimate cruising yacht, the best in comfort and safety. After owning this boat and sailing it many thousands of miles, I would not want to cross oceans on any other vessel."
