2007 Lagoon 440 - US$355,000 Neg.

Another quality listing brought to you by Nautilus Yacht Management!

Lagoon 440 2007 in pristine condition.
This boat was never chartered and only had two owners.
Her first owners bought her new and sailed her around the Meditereanean. They kept her dry docked from October to May each year, after winterizing all the systems (flushing and conditioning).

4 cabins with 4 en-suites version, plus crew berths in bow, or can be used as large storage compartments.

Her current owners, a young couple also from France, bought her from Hyeres (France) in 2012 and proceeded to professionally upgrade and re-fit her for world travel. Presently in Tahiti (Bora Bora), she is offered for sale in turn-key condition. All the photos used in this advertisement were taken in March 2016. The boat is maintained to perfection and is ready to keep cruising. Her owners have also offered to deliver the boat anywhere westbound from Tahiti ,and assist with the logistics of survey, valuation and import. Our company provides free import advice to Australian resident to our valued boat buyers, making the whole process pain free and far less costly.
Her owners write: 'Our Lagoon 440 is a mythic catamaran very well equipped for long-range cruising. Sold at more than 400 units, buying a Lagoon 440 is a safe bet. We lived aboard happily and safely during the past thirty months. We loved her maneuver capability even short-handed. We discovered a fast cat given her spacious and comfortable interior. Her autonomy, both in terms of energy and water allowed us long seclude anchorages as well as safe ocean passages. We still live aboard and we are ready to deliver her anywhere. Boat and crew are ready to cast off anytime.'

Designed and quipped to be sailed easily short handed, or even solo, this boat has all sheets and halyards running back to the helm station. Her two electric primary winches and remote control anchoring from helm (and bow) make her a breeze to handle in all conditions. Rigged as a sloop, with fully battened main sail dropping effortlessly into a lazy bag, furling Genoa, Gennaker and light spinnaker, she is fitted with a sailing wardrobe for all weathers. Her automatic (single line) reefs are also controlled from the helm, so reducing sail area in a sudden blow can be done quickly and without having to venture forward. For steering, her double morse control for the engines are set up both on the flybridge and chart table, an extremely modern system adopted by Lagoon Catamarans.
Her extensive range of cruising electronics were all replaced between 2013 and 2014 with the latest Raymarine models and ensure her ease of navigation and ultimate safety at sea. They include AIS transceiver and receiver, 4 Life-Tag wristbands, Radar, Satellite phone, autopilot (plus spare) with remote control and fixed controls with repeaters at helm and nav table, Wifi and 3G hotspot, etc.

As her owners planned to visit some of the most isolated and ydillic islands in the Pacific, the boat was equipped in 2013 to be entirely self-sufficient, able to harvest all her power needs without having to compromise, as well as her water. Solar panels (450W), 4Kwa diesel generator, plus her two powerful alternator ensure plenty of electricity supply. All the lights were also changed to warm LED and her latest models electronics are also designed to be power efficient. a 100l/h water maker running on both 12V and 240V was also installed in 2013. For comfort the boat is also equipped with a Webasto fuel heating.

This magnificent boat boasts an inventory to die for, including tons of spare parts and service kits for all systems, fishing gear, two sea kayaks, RIB tender, davitts, boarding passarella for stern-to docking, tools, etc. Just bring your clothes, food and favorite wines and you are ready to start your dream cruise or get away to a romantic weekend spot!
