Nautilus Yacht Management is proud to present this immaculately presented version of the immensely popular Beneteau Oceanis 381.

"Le Mika" is a famous boat at the Royal Prince Alfred's for her consistent wins and placement with the club's twilight series. Her owner has maintained her in top condition, berthed at the club, with two generations of diesel mechanics in the family making sure that the motor is kept in pristine condition, as well as overseeing her overall professional maintenance. (Her engine was just serviced again in August 2015.) "Le Mika" is was specifically chosen because of her shaft drive, which as well as remaining far safer than a saildrive will also greatly reduce maintenance costs.
Three weeks ago her bottom was fully stripped back, with a full removal of old layers of antifoul, followed with a costly epoxy treatment, smooth high-build epoxy primer and antifoul. Her topside and decks were also fully detailed at that time, with the original gelcoat presenting in beautiful condition.
Her interior is a delight, with no mildew or smells, plenty of light. She has remained remarkably un-damaged throughout the years, with a pristine timber floor, perfectly maintained cherrywood panelings and quality white leather upholstery in good condition . With three cabins, including a large master cabin with ensuite, the Beneteau 381 offers a huge volume for a boat beneath 40'. Her 1.6m draft enable her to nestle close to shore. Her sturdy build, good storage and huge tank capacity for a 38' boat (500L water and 125L of fuel), and oversize rigging can see her as a comfortable choice for blue water cruising.

As her owners enjoy cruising beautiful Pittwater in all seasons her cockpit has recently been fitted Sunbrella dodger, Bimini, side clears and shade curtains, which will keep the cockpit dry and warm in the winter, as well as cool in the summer. All her hatches have their fitted covers, and the fully battened mainsail (new 2014) is protected with a matching Sunbrella boom bag and lazy jacks.

Cruised effortlessly by one or a couple with all her lines run aft and access to all instruments and winches without having to disturb your guests, she can be enjoyed as a champagne yacht as mush as a competitive racer. "Le Mika" and her crew favor Twilights, non-spikkaner races, but she is nevertheless equipped with a beautiful MPS, easy to set and retrieve and perfect for those who have cruising in mind.

For comfort, the boat has two fully equipped head areas with electric toilets and hot and cold showers. There is an additional cold shower in the cockpit, which can easily be plumbed for hot water if you so desire.

The galley runs the full length of the main cabin, offering plenty of bench space and storage areas, a good size stove and oven, double stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water and a large capacity 12V fridge/freezer (evaporator, thermostat and fridge unit replaced in 2014).

Aft of the companionway are two generously sized double cabins with good quality mattresses and hanging lockers. The saloon/dinette sits 8 comfortably and can be easily lowered to provide another double bed. A flat screen TV/DVD player (Aerial for TV is not fitted), is mounted on a flexible arm on the saloon wall. For additional entertainment a stereo/DC player with mounted interior and cockpit marine speakers have been installed.

The forward cabin is akin to what you would expect to find on a much larger vessel, with a big queen island bed, good storage and private access to the forward head/shower area.

As her owners enjoy spending some time away from the marina all lights have been replaced with LED in warm white.
